In 2008, I was hunting for a single watch that had enough function and style to wear from the outdoors to the office. After deciding on the make and model, I was ready to buy it but came across a surprising roadblock: it had been discontinued. The first thought that came to my mind was, “Could I still buy a brand new watch even though it was discontinued?”
Initially, I thought that finding this watch would be easier than starting the research process all over again. Months of looking everywhere for it proved me wrong. When I finally did find the elusive watch, it was being sold by a shady seller who only had blurry photos and no description.
Even though I was really excited to have this watch, I couldn’t stop thinking about the poor buying experience. There had to be other watch collectors searching for a legitimate company that sells rare yet affordable sport watches.
I knew there had to be a better way and I was determined to create it. By selling a number of watches on eBay, I quickly found that infusing high-end retail practices really connected with collectors from over a dozen countries. In recognition of this success, eBay Corporate selected our business to be nationally featured for multiple advertising campaigns.
It was official - Elevn:59 had become that legitimate company. Fast forward 12 years through the growth of our own site, we’re still surprised by and grateful for just how many watch collectors are looking for a better way too.

The indescribable rush of wearing a rare watch is a reflection of your unique approach to life. Starting at only 17 years old, I started selling rare watches to help other collectors share this feeling and take the hassle out of the buying process.
By combining this early drive with 4 years at Google, I found myself as the advertising consultant to a billion-dollar customer. I’ve enjoyed applying this expertise in customer service and site experience, bringing Elevn:59 to the next level.
I take ownership of every step in the business. From website copywriting to nailing the shot in my photography studio, my obsession for perfection touches each part of Elevn:59 and has led many customers to become repeat buyers.
For every watch here, I have deep product knowledge that spans from the functions to the thought process behind the design aesthetic. Learning directly from members of the Nike Timing Team, including their former Director, has taken me on a journey that I never would’ve expected. What emerged is a realization: the design team continues to share the same level of excitement as avid collectors of these discontinued watches.
